Summary

Body Material: Maple Body

Body Details: Solid maple body with maple neck-through design and single-bound top

Neck Material: Maple Neck

Fingerboard Material: Rosewood

Neck Profile: “D” profile

Neck Thickness (IN): .84″ (1st fret), .85″ (12th fret)

Fingerboard Radius: 7.25″

Nut Width: 1-5/8″

Scale Length: 33-1/4″

Neck Details: One piece maple neck-through design, with bound and finished rosewood fretboard, headstock volute, triangle inlays, and twin truss rods with headstock adjustment.

Electronics: Original single coil pickups and wiring harness, with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes are a mix of 1968 and 1970. A few solder joints have been touched up as well.

Pickup Measurements: 7.5k (neck), 7.1k (bridge)

Hardware: Original. The bridge pickup cover is included, but has not been installed as the spacers are missing. The bottom two truss rod cover screws are missing as well.

Weight: 8lbs 12oz

Modifications / Repairs: A few solder joints have been touched up.

Case Details: Original hardshell case

Cosmetic Condition: The bass has aged nicely, with light patches of wear, dings, and other small blemishes on the glossy finish. The back of the body has mild buckle rash, and the sides of the neck have additional finish wear.

Serial Number: KC088

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief, and is currently set up with flatwound strings. The bridge is close to bottomed-out on the treble side, but the action is comfortable and the bass plays cleanly. The pot codes date to 1968/1970, and the serial number dates the bass to 1971.
