Weight: 4 lbs 14 oz

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson J-160E shows fantastic play wear and natural aging, having been used heavily with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. The glossy finish has checked and shows heavy pick wear around the soundhole. The back and sides of the body have some heavier chips and dings, and the back of the neck is comfortably worn.

Modifications/Repairs: -Repaired back brace-Two repaired cracks on the back of the body-The bridge has been replaced-The bridge plate has been replaced-Replaced wiring harness-Strap button added to shoulder of body

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; it has been maintained in the condition as used by Nathaniel Rateliff, with his flatwound strings still installed. The factory order number on the headblock is faded and mostly illegible, but the faint “W” at the front and the construction appointments likely date the guitar to 1955.
