Neck Details: One-piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and pearloid split-parallelogram inlays. The truss rod has been repaired and the neck has been refretted.
Electronics: Original P90 pickups in neck and bridge positions. Controls include a 3-way toggle switch and volume and tone pots for each pickup. The pots are original, the capacitors have been replaced, and some of the wiring has been touched up.

Case Details: Original hardshell case has some wear but is in good condition. Included in the case is a handwritten note, photo of Ringo Star & His All Star Band, and several of Dr. John’s artifacts.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has moderate to significant play wear and aging. The finish is chipping throughout, is worn down to bare wood on the back of the neck, and there is some finish checking on the body as well. There are a few small cracks around the output jack that have been repaired.
Serial Number: A13515
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Frets are tall and show little sign of play wear. The serial number dates this guitar to 1952.
