Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. The neck has been reset and refretted.
Electronics: A Kent Armstrong floating pickup and wiring harness have been installed. Controls include a master volume pot and master tone pot. The output jack is 1/8″ so a 1/4″ adapter will be needed to plug in to an amplifier.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has a fair amount of play wear. The glossy finish has checking, scratches, and dings throughout. The finish on the back of the neck has worn away in spots and has been buffed to a glossy finish. There are several repaired cracks on the top.
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and light neck relief. There is no adjustable truss rod. The frets are tall and show little sign of play wear. The headstock style indicates that this guitar was likely produced in 1940-42 during the “Oriole” era. Kalamazoo Oriole models typically had a bird decal on the headstock. This guitar is either missing the decal or never had one at all.
