Body Details: Arched maple back and sides with arched spruce top. There are a few repaired cracks in the top, including two on either side of the tailpiece and one at the treble F-hole. These have been lightly touched up.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Epiphone mandolin shows wonderful aging, with checking and authentic wear to the glossy finish. There are a few repaired cracks in the top, at the tailpiece and at the treble F-hole, and the curly maple back is clean with checking. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth with additional checking.

Tech Notes: The mandolin plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The narrow frets are tall with mild play wear. The serial number dates this mandolin to 1941.
